SELJALANDSFOSS WATERFALL IN ICELAND

Seljalandsfoss waterfall in Iceland

A photographer’s dream, Iceland’s Seljalandsfoss waterfall roars over a large recess in the rock wall below. Intrepid explorers, hopefully kitted out with good traction shoes and a raincoat, can walk behind the torrent and capture some truly magnificent photos from the inside out. A short drive from the country’s cosmopolitan capital, Reykjavik, this famous waterfall is only one of a seemingly limitless bounty of astounding sights – volcanoes, geysers, glaciers, icebergs, and yes, many more waterfalls – in a place justly called 'the land of fire and ice.'
